Once you are happy with the suggested or agreed sale price the agent will list your property for sale on popular online portals.
Important information when selling your house
Never allow anyone to view your property without the agent present. Our agents will always arrange viewings with you prior to bringing a client to view the property. If someone knocks on your door and wishes to view your property without the agent then please kindly refuse them for your own safety.
If in doubt please call the agent directly and discuss it with them.
You received an offer! It is always great news to receive a signed offer on your property but do remember that the prospective buyer needs to first obtain the necessary funding to purchase your property. The banks often decline applications so please bear in mind that an offer on your house does not necessarily mean that your house is sold. Once all parties have signed at the transferring attorneys you are reasonably assured that the sale will go through.
Back-up offers. In lieu of the above, it is wise to allow the selling agents to continue to bring prospective buyers to view your property until such stage as you are sure that the house has been sold. Prospective buyers will place a backup offer. If one deal does fall through then you will have a second or this deal to fall back on.
